Baberton Golf Club, Juniper Green

Baberton Gold Club was a medium demolition project in 2-phases. The first phase was the demolition of the former club house and was a reasonable easy task only made difficult due to the on-site presence of the construction team building the new club house, the restricted traffic access and the presence of the public.

The second phase was the demolition of the former janitors house which had the same issues as the club house but was also in close proximity to the community centre and the neighbouring property which required a high degree of manual demolition works to reduce the precarious structure down to allow for safe remote demolition and the clearance of the arising materials off site.

What we did
  • Demolition (mechanical remote)
  • Demolition (partial hand reduction)
  • Working at heights
  • Internal soft strip
  • Site clearance
  • Crushing
  • Working in a live environment
  • Working near the public
  • Removing identified waste streams
  • Material salvage
  • Recycling

Aros House, Templar Place Farm, Gullane

A small demolition project carried out next to Gullane Golf Course comprising of the removal of a stone built house and a cottage to make way for the construction of a new bespoke house for the client.

The contract while in a tight location near the golf course and in close proximity to the neighbours property was relatively straight forward with hand reduction works making way for standard conventional remote mechanical demolition work.
